Born 1981 in Pittsburgh PA, Chris Savido has been creating images as far back as he can remember. With experience in a wide range of mediums, he works primarily with acrylics on canvas. Through a combination of self-exploration and formal training, Chris has learned to utilize various mediums and styles, to create a diverse range of images. Chris studied at Syracuse University where he graduated in 2003 with a BFA in Illustration. Today, Chris Savido lives in New York City where at the end of 2003 he gained media attention for his controversial painting, "Bush Monkeys". Chris continues to produce original images and creations while appreciating the unique offerings of New York City.
