How do you determine who is included in Streetwise Art?
Streetwise Art uses a number of factors to determine who to include in their
collection, but among them are exhibition inclusion, education and training,
publications, reviews, and frankly who we think are just darned talented.

We keep our ears to the ground and listen to the word on the street (hence our
name) to keep abreast of who the hottest artists on the market are and do our
research on each artist, choosing only the most inspired and unique artists who
bring integrity and charm to the world of art.

Is it possible to see more art from a particular artist?
Of course! For ease of navigation we usually limit the number of pieces show to
five or six in each gallery, however that does not necessarily mean that we don't
have more art from each artist to present to you. All you need to do is shoot us a
quick message and we'll be honored to show you more!

These pieces look great on the Internet but what kind of quality can I
expect when I actually see the art in person?
Our immediate answer is "only the top quality." We do our best to describe in
detail not only the dimensions and medium(s) used or in the case of giclee prints
the type of paper and ink used. If you have specific questions or concerns,
please feel free to inquire and we'll have answers for you.

Is this just another vanity site?
The best way to answer this question is by asking, are we proud of the work we show you? And the answer is, yes! And why shouldn't we? Streetwise Art toots their horn everytime we have an original or limited edition print to offer to the savvy art collector, who knows the difference between an HR Giger and fingerpainting by your 4 year old niece.

Why should I buy from you instead of the artist?
Each piece we sell is commissioned from the artist themself, who authorizes SWA to act as a broker on their behalf. These original one of a kind artworks and specific limited edition pieces are not otherwise available elsewhere while we are authorized to act as an exclusive broker.

Why do you have pieces listed that are sold already?
First, we often have multiple inquiries on pieces within our collection... so to notify others who may have entertained a mute interest, they will know what happened to the piece once it's removed from our gallery. Second, we keep these pieces within our gallery while awaiting the newest pieces from our artists so that it gives visitors a flavor for the artists' body of work.

How can I buy a piece of art from Streetwise Art?
Purchasing is simple. Just click on the PURCHASE ART link at the left side of the screen, and you will be taken to an online form for inquiring on and making your purchase.

How long will it take me to get my art that I have purchased?
Once the online sale has been paid for, we guarantee the art to be sent out within 14 days. This is our standard shipping time frame, and helps make sure the piece is properly packaged with safety in mind. There are quicker options for shipping if desired.

Are you looking for other artists to represent on your website?
Since we embrace the artworld and enjoy the diverse types of artists out there, we are more than willing to look at others to add to our site. Just remember that we are not out there to overload you with everyone who wants on. We are particular about who we put out to you, the art collector and enthusiast.
