Vincent Castiglia’s work has been explored by many Art, Tattoo, and Lifestyle publications, and has appeared on New York 1 News. Vincent lives and works in New York City, and is a member of The Society for Art of Imagination.

Vincent is fascinated by the interrelationship between the life of man and plant-life. Correlations between lung and tree structures, the composition of the nervous system relative to plant roots, branches, and other forms of the plant-kingdom, and the inverse chemical processes of respiration deeply intrigue the artist. Humans breathe oxygen which plants produce as waste. Plants “breathe” carbon dioxide, which is our respiratory bi-product. The concepts underlying this interdependence between the two are integral to Vincent’s creative process. Beauty and decay conjugate in a superlative act to objectify a seamless truth within the desperation of the human condition; an attempt to decode for Castiglia, himself, the absurdity of the individual human experience.
